Two Stacks Irish Whiskey

TWO STACKS IRISH WHISKEY IS BASED CLOSE TO THE MOURNE MOUNTAINS IN COUNTY DOWN, NORTHERN IRELAND AND GETS ITS NAME FROM THE TOWERING TWIN CHIMNEY STACKS OF THE OLD DISTILLERY IN DUNDALK JUST DOWN THE IRISH COAST. ONCE THEY WERE SO HIGH, THEY SERVED AS A NAVIGATION POINT FOR SAILORS PLYING ROUTES UP AND DOWN THE IRISH SEA. THE STORY BEGINS ABOUT SIX YEARS AGO WHEN THREE FRIENDS, SHANE MCCARTHY, DONAL MCLYNN, AND LIAM BROGAN CREATED IRISH CRAFT BEVERAGES, A COMPANY THAT EXPORTED AND DISTRIBUTED INDEPENDENT IRISH DRINK BRANDS AROUND THE WORLD. THEY DECIDED IN 2020 THEY WANTED TO PRODUCE AS WELL AS DISTRIBUTE, SO THEY CREATED TWO STACKS.

THE TWO STACKS STORY CONTAINS SYMBOLS FROM THE PAST BUT IS ROOTED IN THE BELIEF THAT IRISH WHISKEY'S STORY SHOULD BE ONE OF DIVERSITY, CREATIVITY, AND PERSONALITY.

THESE THREE FRIENDS, YOUNG GUYS WHO LIVED AND WORKED ABROAD, PROUD OF THEIR IRISH HERITAGE FOUND THEMSELVES DISAPPOINTED NOT SEEING IRELAND REPRESENTED EXCEPT FOR A FEW BIG BRANDS.

THEY WANTED TO BRING A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO THE WHISKEY INDUSTRY BACK HOME IN IRELAND AND TO DO THAT THEY FELT LIKE IT MEANT BRINGING A PIECE OF THEMSELVES. THEY STARTED WITH "DRAM IN A CAN", A FIRST FOR IRISH WHISKEY.  IT WAS A SPACE THAT WAS MISSING FROM THE MARKET.

THE COMPANY HAS ITS OWN KILLOWEN DISTILLERY, IRELAND'S SMALLEST, ALLOWING THEM TO BE BLENDERS AND BOTTLERS.  THIS MEANS THEY CAN CREATE MANY DIFFERENT VARIETIES AND STYLES AND WORK ALONGSIDE OTHER SMALL INDEPENDENTS. WE ARE PROUD TO SUPPORT THEIR CORE EXPRESSIONS

First Cut

First Cut is the first five-part Irish Blend on the Market. It is made with two styles of grain whiskey, pot still whiskey, double malt and peated malt. It is complex as you would imagine, but delicately sweet and spicy, with a medium finish. We recommend you enjoy it Neat or over a Gentleman's Cube.

Blender's Cut

Blender's Cut is Cask Strength at 64%, the highest proof Irish Whiskey on the Market today. It is made with the same five-part blend as First Cut. It has an almost chewy mouthfeel, tastes of spice with notes of coffee. It has a nice long finish. We recommend you enjoy it Neat with a Water Back and take your time savoring every drop.
